Eric Knight will be performing at the NAMM show in Anaheim, California on Saturday January 16. The performance will take place at the MXL Microphones booth (#6866) at noon. Everyone attending the convention is encouraged to stop by and watch the performance.

Additionally, Eric Knight will be embarking on an educational tour this spring of LA area high schools. Dubbed “Music Business 101,” the tour focuses bringing live performance and question and answer sessions to students interested in pursuing careers in the music industry. Knight is no stranger to this type of tour having participated in a similarly styled tour several years ago in Miami. That tour was met with rave reviews and attention from local press. “I think it’s important to do shows like this,” says Knight. “Its important because there are kids out there aspiring to be involved in this industry that may not realize all of the avenues and possibilities of how to get your foot in the door. You don’t have to sell out the Staples Center or even get signed to major label to be a successful musician anymore. You just have to have talent and ambition.”

About Eric Knight

Eric Knight has taken the contemporarily appropriate “do-it-yourself” attitude to a whole new level. Opening for acts including KISS, Dave Matthews Band, Aerosmith and Kid Rock, Knight has worked tirelessly to introduce his original music to the masses. In December 2008, he walked away with Outstanding Male Solo Artist bragging rights at the Rockies Awards in Hollywood. Dressed to kill in a sharp suit and tie, he offers a decidedly unbridled take on rock that remains tastefully aware of rock and roll’s pioneers but determined to redefine it even as he picks up the torch. Knight is currently working on his third album, Delusions of Grandeur, slated for release later this year.
